To answer the post #13 by Varjag:

Transport submarines typ D1 (I-361 to I-372) were fitted to carry a landing craft on the after deck, and i think it wasn't a Daihatsu but a Chuhatsu.
The Chuhatsu was 13 m long and the Daihatsu was 14 m.
The Chuhatsu was waterproof.

I have a question: How the landing craft were attached on the mother ship ( Surface ships and submarines ) ?
