Thanks!

I had them as KOGA Yuko and NAKANO Tadatomo, respectively. I have changed the names.

Looking forward to the other I-Boat records!

According to page 35 of JACAR C13072086500, LCDR TAMURA Yasushi was appointed Supply Officer of MUSASHI on 5 on August 1942. He had not been appointed EO. His previous post was Accounting Staff of 21st Naval Air Depot.

Awesome...thanks! A couple things:
fontessa wrote:MATSUMOTO Masahiko: 松本正彦 (Eng.30)
My source for Engineer Academy 30 does not mention him...odd. However, I have a MATSUKI Masahiko (松木正彦; 19/66; from Miyagi) from Engineer Academy 30...could this be the same person?

Also: Could you possibly fill in this blank for YAMATO?

Secondary Gunnery Officers
CDR NOGUCHI Yutaka (53) - 7 June 1943 – 20 October 1943
??? – 20 October 1943 - 1 March 1944
LT / LCDR FUKUI Toshinosuke (62) - 1 March 1944 - 1 December 1944

TIA for any help!

"松本正彦" might be a my misreading of "松木正彦".
When MATSUMOTO Masahiko - Chief Engineer was appointed?

Thanks!

For Chief Engineers, CDR MATSUMOTO Masahiko was appointed on 15 September 1942. His previous post was Chief Engineer of MAYA.

For Secondary Gunnery Officers, CDR NOGUCHI Yutaka (53) was relieved on 20 February 1944...was this the date he was posted to KONGO as Gunnery Officer (that's the next posting I have for him)?

I have misread the Kanji for him.
For CDR 松木正彦(Matsuki Masahiko),
Chief Engineer of MAYA: 15 August 1941 - 10 September 1942
Attached to Combined Fleet HQ: 10 September 1942 - 15 September 1942
Chief Engineer of YAMATO: 15 September 1942 - 1 September 1943
is correct.

Got a couple more from Eta Jima Class 58...just need their class ranking:

伊藤春樹 - ITO HARUKI
土屋鉄彦 - TSUCHIYA Tetsuhiko

I have two numbers missing - 106 and 107 - and both are listed on The Naval Database as being 106. Thanks for any help in clearing this up!
