I read in 'Rays of the Rising Sun' by Philip Jowett that the Nanking government in China declared war on the Allies in 1943, and this made me wonder did Manchukuo also formally declare war on the Allies, and if so when?

I know they did, "guided" by the Japanese advisors. I'm thinking it was shortly after Pearl, but I'd have to dig for it.
