Does anyone know the composition of the Manchukuo/Japanese garrison at the nearby settlement of Fuyuan? This book does mention a garrison there, but does not provide details: https://books.google.com/books?id=klCQA ... uo&f=false

There were no Japanese garrisons at Fuyuan. The Japanese were only as follows.

The sentry from 5th Company of 367th Infantry Regiment (23 men)
The lookout from 11th Air Information Regiment (8 men)

Besides them, there was Fuyuan Border Police (about 30 Japanese and 60-70 Manchurian).
