Looking for Info/photo IJN Cmdr. Makino

Post by Steege » 02 Mar 2019, 02:26

Hi, I am looking for any service information on Commander Hiroshi Makino. He was CO of the Hatsuharu destroyer until Nov. 1942 and he was CO of the Okinami until Nov. 1944. I also heard that before he was CO of the Hatsuharu he was CO of the Kasasagi Torpedo boat. Any information of his early service , promotions, awards etc. would be appreciated. Also does anyone have a photo of him? Thanks

His first name is 担 . It is read as Hiroshi, Akira, Yutaka etc., but it is unknown how it was read in his case.
