8027 did not exist. 8057 is close to it. 8057 means 71st Field AA Gun Battalion in Burma.

The military postcard below looks like from ビルマ派遣林8027部隊 Burma Dispatch Hayashi 8027 Unit. I guess this unit deactivated before the end of the war. Unfortunately I don't know the nnme of it.

Thank you - you are probably correct that it was deactivated or was a short lived unit that was converted to another type unit and issued a new number. There seems to be several that that may be the case for.

It will be 8127. 8127 means 20th Independent Engineer Regiment of Burma Area Army.
