Hello,
Does anyone have details on the IJNAF composition in the Marshall islands during the American raid against the Marshall islands on 1 February, 1942? The Chitose ku, Yokohama ku, and 19th ku were scattered around, but how much of each aircraft were there on each island? Also, is there any concrete information on the losses suffered by these air units during the raid?

What I have is from "The First Team: Pacific Naval Air Combat from Pearl Harbor to Midway" by John B. Lundstrom.

Roi-Namur, Kwajalein Atoll: HQ Chitose Air Group with 18 A5M4 carrier fighters
Ebeye, Kwajalein Atoll: 19th Air Group with ? E13A1 reconnaissance floatplanes
Taroa, Maloelap Atoll: Det Chitose AG with 15 A5M4 carrier fighters and 9 G3M2 land attack planes
Jaluit: Det Yokohama Air Group with 6 H6K4 flying boats
Makin Atoll, Gilbert Islands: Det Yokohama Air Group with 3 H6K4 flying boats

At Taroa: 1 A5M4 shot down, 1 A5M4 badly damaged, 1 G3M2 destroyed on the ground, 1 G3M2 damaged on ground by VF-6
In attacks on Enterprise, 2 G3M2 and 1 E13A1 shot down
At Makin: 2 H6K4 destroyed on the ground by VS-5
In search for Yorktown, 1 H6K4 shot down by VF-42
