Hello,

I have a question for You all. In July and August of 1938 in tha area of Lake Khasan there were some heavy clashes between Red Army and IJA. On the Japanese side, at the beginning there was reinforced 19th ID. On the Soviet side there was 39th Rifle Corps. Lately I have found a Internet info in Russian that at the beginning of August there were some more reinforcements on their way to 19th Division. I enclose the list and I hope You can check it and correct it, because it is probably made as a translation from Japanese or Korean or Chinese into Russian and then from Russian into English by a Pole. So it might be corrupted, especially places names. Here it is:
140th Infantry Brigade from 120th ID - I know nothing about units in the Brigade or commanders of Brigade or Division?
67th IR [col. Okuma Sadao] from 29th IB of 15th ID
Independent Tank Unit from Korea Army [very interesting, if correct]
Heavy Artillery Regiment Ranam [?]
36th Expeditionary Brigade - I think this is Manchukuo Army unit like the one below
8th Infantry Regiment from Yanji Manchukuo Army Garrison
Guard Battalion Cinjuan [?]
Border Unit Hunchun [?]
Border Unit Kenchin [?], Henchin [?]
Regards,
Marek

No, it is mistake. 67th IR was in Nanking at that time.

> Independent Tank Unit from Korea Army [very interesting, if correct]
It would be temporary tankette unit. It was temporarily formed at the tankette training center of 19th Division.

> Heavy Artillery Regiment Ranam [?]
It is 15th Field Heavy Artillery Regiment. It homed at Ranam(羅南).
