About a year ago I asked a question about Army Unit Codes. You directed me to JCAR and had me download the only document that was available.
I think you called the "Secret Directive". The shelter in place due to the virus gave me some time to work on the translation of the unit codes.

My problem is that they are all hand written and difficult for me to translate. If possible could you translate the numbers I have been unable to translate.

Thank you for the help Fontessa - I am still working on the second half of the list. Yes some of the Kanji comes out poor from the download witch makes it even harder for me to translate

I couldn't identify the following abbreviations.

36476 大陸4通隊 　Continent(China), 8th Communications Unit

第8野戦補充馬廠 8th Field Remount Depot seems to have two Unit Code Numbers of 27609 and 36709.

野化 will be an abbreviation of 野戦化学実験部 (Field Chemical Test Department). In China Incident, 第１野戦化学実験部 and 第２野戦化学実験部 were sent to China.

Fontessa and Taki Thank you so much for helping me complete a project I have been working on for over a year. It is a shame that JCAR does not have more sections of the Secret Directive.
