Suppressed rifles and subsonic ammo?

Apparently the Germans manufactured at least some removable suppressors for the K98k (HUB-23), as well as subsonic Nahpatrone ammo. Did the Japanese have suppressors or subsonic ammo available for any of their rifles before the end of WW2?

No. In 1931, 科学協議会(Association of Science) studied the silencer for Type 38 Rifle. But, I have never heard that it was produced.
