Could someone please help me identify this badge? The translation is Red Cross Squadron. Is it WW2? Was it worn by the nurses? Thanks in advance.

Hello Bekki,

The Red Cross Squadron is under the direct control of the Japanese Red Cross Headquarters, which was formed in 1963 by officers and employees of the Japanese Red Cross Society for the purpose of cooperating free of charge with humanitarian operations such as disaster relief performed by the Japanese Red Cross Society using aircraft. It is a special service group. The members range from individuals / aircraft owners, groups / aircraft-related companies, etc. who support the activities of the squadron.
