Hi I have an English citation, that Torpedo Boats 7,8,and 9accompanied the cruiser Idzumo to Hong Kong during June 1919. I thought numbered torpedo boats were retired by this time. On the other hand while I have the # 7 Matuskaze, # 8 Sawarabi (Which makes no sense) and #9 Hatakaze not being commissioned until a bit later. Perhaps wartime restrictions on reporting via Gazette have been lifted and Japanese other Japanese ships visited Hong Kong in May and June 1919. It is possible that English citation is wrong. Many thanks in advance.
