I have a citation that Japan in 1917 included 120 light field guns in an arms sale to China. In 1917, what did Japan manufacture as a light field gun? Perhaps someone knows about this particular agreement. I have it concluded after China declared war on Germany and Austro-Hungary in August 1917, noted in a paper in September and more details in October? How and when shipped? Are these the weapons that Zhang Zuolin intercepted and then released? Many thanks in advanced.

In 1917-18, Japan sold Type 38 Field Gun, Type 6 Mountain Gun*, Type 31 Mountain Gun, Type 38 12cm Howitzer and Type 38 15cm Howitzer to China.

* China export version of Type 41 Mountain Gun
