Japanese helmet translation?
Hello all, I’ve had this Japanese helmet for a while and have been trying to translate what it says. It appears to be IJN but don’t know if it is post-war or not. There is text on the front, the inside-front, and the back. Anything helps!

Re: Japanese helmet translation?
Mostly this section of the forum seems to be focused on actual history rather than militaria collecting, but I will try to help. The first one I'm not sure what it mean, some attempt at a forum name saying ヂヤバーン (Jiyabaan). The front says Tarawa and Makin, and the inside looks like the surname Ueno but it is poorly written. These are obviously attempts by someone unfamiliar with the Japanese language to add value to an otherwise unattractive helmet. The anchor is not for a helmet, it is for navy pith helmets.
