KI-15 and the C5M2

Post by Brady » 23 Jul 2021 17:00

Did the KI-15 and the C5M2 use the same drop tank, or did just the Navy deploy them ?

I cant say for certain that I have seen a Ki-15-II pictured with a drop tank ?

Here you have Ki-15-II operating manual (drawings start at page 66). Drawing you are looking for is on page 124 for general arrangement and page 130 for auxiliary fuel drop tank.
Manual for operating Type 97, headquarters, reconnaissance plane (Model No. 2) with drawings prepared by Army Air headquarters, March 1941. Report No. 15n(9), USSBS Index Section 2
