55 Infantry Division in Thailand

Hi all, can anyone add (and quite possibly correct) to the information I have of the Japanese 55 Infantry Division in Thailand.

Maj Gen Tomitarō Horii and the 55th Inf Group HQ were detached and renamed the South Seas Detachment

With them went the whole of the 144 Inf Regt, commanded by Lt Col Masao Kusunose, 1st Bn 55 Arty Regt (12 x 75mm Type 94 Mtn guns),
3 Sqn 55 Cav Regt and some smaller detachments.

Of the remaining units, the 143 Inf Regt was landed on the Kra Isthmus on the 8th Dec 1941

Col Ueno and HQ 143 Regt landed at Chumphon, along with I/143 Bn minus 1 Coy

1 Coy I/143 Regt landed at Surat Thani

III/143 Bn landed at Nakhon Si Thammarat

II/143 Bn landed at Prachub Khiri Khan

When did the remaining units of the 55 Infantry Division arrive in Thailand, where from and how?

The remains of 55th Division departed from Japan on Nov. 13th, 1941 and arrived at Haiphong on Nov. 26th. In Dec. 11th, they moved to Saigon by railway. From Saigon, they marched to Phnom Penh (There was no railway between Saigon and Phnom Penh). The march in the tropics was hard and they were in disorder. From Phnom Penh, they were transported to Thailand by railway one by one. They gradually arrived at Bangkok late in Dec.
