Submarine I-9

Does anyone have access to the deck log for Japanese submarine I-9? Specifically, for its Aleutian patrol for June 1942? I need its deck log for June 17th 1942. My father depth bombed a submarine tracking the USS US Grant troopship near Cherni island (near Cold Bay) on that date. I have attached the USS US Grant deck log for that day and the VP-42 war diary entry.

The deck log was more than likely lost with I-9 when she was sunk with all hands in June 1943, unless it was transferred ashore after each patrol.

I have been in contact with JACAR but have not been able to find someone to search and translate. I do not know if the Japanese had a single deck log like in the US Navy or some other documents. I wish James Sawruk could help me but I think he passed away in 2019 in PA. He sent me some translated seaplane logs for the Aleutian battles in June 1942 back in 2003 (Kamikawa Maru floatplane ops).

Most submarine deck logs were abandoned after the war.
