IJN Experimental 5.9" (15cm?) Anti-Sub Rocket Launcher?!

Was checking info on Minekaze Class Destroyers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minekaze-class_destroyer and it mentions that the forward gun of the Sawakaze was replaced with an "experimental 5.9" anti-sub rocket launcher". This is this the first I've heard of this.

Is it similar to this: http://navweaps.com/Weapons/WNJAP_12cm_AA_Rocket.php But enlarged and using different rockets?

It was 試製15cm 9連装対潜噴進砲 Trial 9-15cm Anti-submarine Rocket Launcher. Not active destroyers were equipped with it.
It was a variation of 12cm 28連装(対空)噴進砲 28-12cm Anti-air Rocket Launcher used in aircraft carriers such as Zuikaku, Shinano, Unryu and Amagi.
