Japanese book, 1939 (?)

Post by jeffhan373 » 27 Aug 2023 15:59

Can anyone give me an exact translation of the title of this book?

And, is it part of the series "The Photographic Collection of the China Incident", published by Asahi Shimbun? (Speaking of this series, does anyone know what volume 2 was?)

Thanks!

According to Google Translate, via my phone's camera-

Top Row: Japan Sino-Japanese Servant

2nd Row: Commemorative Photo Book

Bottom Row: Karasawa Squad, Kurino Squad

-No guarantee that it's perfect, but it's something...

Sino-Japanese Incident Service
Commemorative Photo Book
Karasawa Unit Kurino Subunit
1937-1939

It's a rare private unit book and could be related to the 16th Transport Regiment. If you're ever interested in donating it to the Japanese military photo archives please send me a message. I'll make sure it gets fully digitized and we find out what unit it's for.

Thanks, guys - much appreciated!

Possible to get the book title in Japanese, but not using Japanese characters? E.g. something like "Chushi wo Yuku"....
