I didn't know there was a Japanese National Socialist group during the war, but here some information I gathered: In 1936, Seigo Nakano founded a fascist political group in Japan called Tohokai, meaning Eastern Society.
The flag of the group was similar to the NSDAP flag, except the swastika was rounded (suppossed to be a symbol meaning "east" in Japanese). Nakano met with Mussolini in 1937 and Hitler in 1938, and was eventually imprisoned on charges of starting a revolution. His group was banned after the surrender of Japan.

Re: Tohokai-the Japanese NSDAP
Did Tohokai embrace the Japanese militarists' hunger or territorial conquest, and did they believe that military culture (e.g. refusing to surrender to an enemy force) should remain part of Japanese society?
