Preparing Japan For War- The Romance Of Weapons

Post by Psycho Mike » 09 Dec 2004 16:48

Very rare vintage prints which were used to make propaganda publications, intended to excite the public about Japan's expansion. During the late 1930's, before the attack on Pearl Harbor, Japan was at the height of its military power. Photographers were hired by the Japanese government, and the images were then heavily retouched by hand to enhance their propaganda values. These vintage photos were found in a Japanese book dealer's archive - never before been seen.
