IIRC, she was armed with German 37-mm. Flak (besides the radar mentioned in the link I gave). And she was the only Japanese sub (excluding U-511) to successfully return home after "journey" to France.

What the Japanese learned from German tanks is not individual specifications, but the concept of tank. Panther was the MBT in the late WWII. Chi-To intended it.

I don't think I'd agree with that but your pictures show numerous other differences between the vehicles as well.

Hitlers opinions especially his publicised ones weren't always worth a whole lot even when directily applied. I don't see that it has any significant relevance or value when applied to the topic at hand.
