Italian Energy Production where?

#1

I am looking for data on major hydro and thermal power production facilities in Italy.
I know several were in Aosta Valley, Tirso Dam in Sardegna, Timpagrande near Crotone. But all my data is disjointed gathered everywhere.

Hi Dili,

This is not a small subject. The best description in english is in the Geographical Handbook Series Italy Volume 3 published by the British Admiraly Naval Intelligence Division. There is over forty pages of detailed text, tables and maps on the Italian electricity generation and distribution network.

These books have long been declassified, so if you live in the UK or US you can obtain them by inter-library loan.

Regards

Lee
