Bomber Command & SN-2 Production

Just read a brief passage in M. Middlebrook's The Berlin Raids that essentially stated that Bomber Command contributed to the delays in production of the SN-2 radar set by knocking out several smaller workshops. No sources were cited with this statement, and I just want to check if anyone can give more information about Middlebrooks conclusion.
