Bunkers with tank turrets!
Re: Bunkers with tank turrets!
Please tell me what kind of tank turret in the background? It seems to me that this Italian tank turret "Carro Armato M13 / 40", an armed German tank gun 7,5 cm KwK 37 L / 24 ?

Re: Bunkers with tank turrets!
caption said "tank turret on bunker in lock protection, Belgium."
I have the Belgian bulletin "Tank Museum News", special issue Cavalry, from the horse to the engine 1937-1997 ", and there is nothing convincing.
Someone recognizes the origin of this turret?

Re: Bunkers with tank turrets!
Are there any tobruks with tankturret from the Pz 38 (t) found in the part of the Südwall from
Spanisch border till Marseille beside the one at Col des Balitres ( "Pyrenees Linie" ) ?
Sofar I could only find them in the ex-Italian part of the Südwall after the 08-09-1943 also occupied
by the German army . See last line in the NARA document .

We spoke in other topic also about wood made bottom box for Pantherturm, so let's see wood made ringstand's designs for other types of turrets.

One more example from eastern front with description "turret from tank", small holes "observation hole" (left draving), central hole "machine gun embrasure" (right draving). Bottom box made from beams.

Re: Bunkers with tank turrets!
Regarding to number of Pz IV and Pz V tanks/turrets used in Berlin as AT weapon, based on attched documents we can count 10 Panthers and 12 "Four" pieces restored to shot condition as not movable (for dig in?).
