Hello

Here is the story from the Ringstandlafette so far ,the first version was a local design of the Inf.Regt 679 ( 333 I.D. )
then Landesbefestigung West adopted this idea and made two version as you can see on page 1 ( blurry picture's )
they were so succesfull that Insp. Fest. ( Berlin ) made two central designed models ( 944S6 and 960S6 ) .
Beside these models for light M.G. there were also versions for heavy M.G. , also there are several models made in
Norway .

Found in the drawings of the BRV archive this one , looks to me a sort of Ringstand lafette ??

A very blurry photo from Ebay from a tobruk in Crete, looks this one has not only a front mg shield but also a back shield ??
