Also ask Malcolm from Jersey. He made several reproduction cases.

Re: Bunker optics
Dirk what are you looking for? I have a case for holding 3 x Pz.B.W.F.8. if you need the sizes of it?AvB wrote:Also ask Malcolm from Jersey. He made several reproduction cases.
I have made a copy of it along with the cases for all the other optics used in a 6-Sch. and have originals of most of them.
If you want stencils for the cases there is an eBay seller who does them, just search for 'WW2 German Optic' and you should find them

Regards,
Malcolm

Re: Bunker optics
I’m working on an inventory of bunker optics, existing and with information from documents. Combined with archival research at the manufacturers and the types, numbers, manufacturers and types of grease I’m trying to get an insight in the production numbers and the specific manufactures for certain types. I will publish parts of the info on bunkeroptik.com and possibly in a future book.
I'm looking for collectors who have these optics and would like to share the following information:
I'm looking for collectors who have these optics and would like to share the following information:
- The type (and exact abbreviation on the piece, sometimes dots for Pz. are omitted)
- Manufacturer: either exact name or code
- Number of the piece and possible grease types (K.F., O, +)
- Color (Greenish, grayish, sand color, yellow, black)
- Manufacturer and number of the front/top optic (Ausblickkopf)
- Possible provenance of the original bunker (with bunker position/number)
- Any interesting remarks (additional number/text in pencil/paint)
