I only know of the batteries on Alderney, Jersey and Guernsey (destroyed)
with this type of Bettung.
But in Bt Langerak the same hoists were used in the M.153c Bettungen.

Don't know of any other Bettungen with the same construction.
The M.158 works with another system of hoisting.

Thanks for the photo's , the purpose of my question is , if this
ammunition hoist is standard model or is in every other bettung
or bunker a different model for example in the M 158 , M 180 or
other bettungen and bunkers .

You're right Jos.
I think they could use that hole for maintenance of the
hoisting chains.
I'm interested in the M 195, the shape of the Bettung shows
similarities with the Mxxx of the Channel Islands.
The typenumber must be in the 0xx or 1xx series I guess.

There is even the same hole in the concrete on
ground level in the M 153c as in the bettungen
at the C.I. , witch also must be a M ??? .
Maybe someone has information on the hoist in
other bettungen in Norway and other parts of the
Atlantikwall ???

Hi jos & AvB,
The Emplacements are known as 15cm Sk C/28 Emplacement Type B049.
with 4 at each of the 3 batteries constructed in the C.I.

I`ve only seen one hoist in Norway which is for sure of German origin. Looks exactly like the one Arthur posted, but comes from a different bunker. (Not yet able to tell you which type )
This hole you describe is not at groundlevel here, but above the handle.

yes, the amminition to all the guns in this fort was stored below ground deep inside the mountain. i dont know if this bunker and the hoist system is from after the war. but as far as i know all the gun inplacements were built by the germans. because all the guns were uncovered when the norwegians built it. Its a shame though that all the tunnels underground are blown up.
here is a picture of the bunker from its front
the part of a bunker you can see to the left is the entrence to the stairs leading to the storage underground
