Those bunkers are postwar Norwegian ones made in the 1960`s
The ones made before the war and reused by the Germans were either destroyed on not used at all after ww2.

Here is a sideview of the new bunker where you see the remains of the old emplacement to the right.

Hello All

According to the report from Jens there were 2 types of ammunutionshoists
the Dieckmann-Aufzug for the M 200 and the Pitchatzek-Aufzug for the M 180 .
Maybe the "Boys from the A.R.N." have some photo's of these bunkers ?

Regards Jos

P.S. Jens for president ( maybe France )

Hallo!
Earlier in this thread I wrote this:
(Not yet able to tell you which type )
After Jens` report, I think we can say that the bunkers at MKB Lyngen are M 180!
So photos of this hoist can be seen earlier in this thread.

As for the M 200, many seems to have been planned in Norway, but as far as I remember we never found any open emplacements which looks like the drawing, and definately not with any hoisting system........

Thanks Erik

There is in Holland also a M 175 planned at several 15 cm batteries ,
this bunker looks in groundform a lot like the M 180 so maybe there
are more type's for different guns from this model of bettung .

Hello Rhandber,

the whole emplacement is of norwegian origin. The norwegian forces used an ex-pre war norwegian, afterwards ex german site to place ex german 15 cm SKC/28 guns in post war emplacements. It lays within the boundaries of the ex german MKB Brettingen. It was called Brettingen Fort by the norwegians and was laid down in 1993.

Greetings

Daniel

Hi Jos,

This is where you lower the targets at a shooting range.
You can see the soldiers cover the shot holes on the targets, before they go back up.

Does anybody recognize this type of "ammunition door"? It's not exactly an elevator, it just goes through the wall in to the gun emplacement.

The bunker is Norwegian post war, but the gun is a 10,5 cm S.K.C/32 in 8,8 cm M.P.L.C/30 mit Deckenschutzschild. There is a good chance the ammo door is also German ww2.
