Hello,
The 857P7 turrets at Grove were special ones. In these turrets the gun was mounted on a steel frame instead of the normal Lafette, and the trumpet-shaped steel part was fitted beneath the gun (see SES’photo).
In the normal 857P7 turrets (like those at Vitry) it seems that the trumpet was fitted at the top of the Hülsenabwurfrohr.
Greetings
Lars

I realized the difference, between both photos, what I said has SES.Lars Bertelsen wrote:Hello,

Presumed L13 in Belgium
Hi everybody,
René, this will probably interest you: I find some documents about the Flugplatz Deurne (Antwerp) and the description of one of the bunker seems to tend to a L13.
Look the Nr 15 on the drawing and the description. I translate to English the description for you:
Bunker (shooting shelter) of reinforced concrete with turning cupola and ammunition room, destroyed by explosion.
Unfortunately, no drawing of the bunker have been made.
Greetings
Pierrot

Hi,
Just to muddle things. We had three Type 67 alt.mod with Pz II turrets and a Tobruk with a FT-17 turret at Grove. Please see:

Flugplatz Deurne
Hi,
For your information,
the communication bunker I was talking about on another topic (http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=129171) is the Nr2 on the same drawing of the Flugplatz Deurne I have posted here above.
Greetings

abri de tir Deurne (B)
[... Especially because it says 'local à munitions' (room for ammo) and not like the detailed description above with every room measured. ]
The "abri de tir" was probably not measured because it was "détruit par explosion" (destroyed by explosion) either by withdrawing German troops or by advancing Allied troops.
Judging from the postwar description and the position on the Luftwaffe aerodrome Deurne it would probably be a L13, although the facts do not give 100% confirmation.
Until now, I have not found the earlier Heersregelbau VF70(alt) or derivatives on Luftwaffe airfields in NL, B or F, only proper L13's. Or can anyone contradict this? Seems the Danish VF-examples at Grove are a bit of an exception again.
Rgds, René D.

Hi ¨René,
It seems indeed like the Bauform 261 (Type 70 alt) found at Grove were the only ones in Denmark and as Lars has pointed out with a modified mount for the Flak 38. It does seem odd, however. that they have not been found anywhere else. I would welcome a comment from a German or Norwegian airfield researcher.

Not quite sure what details you are discussing.. Just browsed through here and found out that photos often say more than 1000 wordsthat they have not been found anywhere else.
Here is the only known remaining L13 in Norway. Most likely Bardufoss was the only airport in Norway equipped with such turrets....
