In the last year the following bunkers were demolished in the Netherlands.
Vlissingen; a Kabelschaltbrunnen, 501, sperre and a Tobruk.
Haamstede; Luftschutzbunker, Kabelschaltstelle, bunker for unknown use and a Küver (demolishing of the last one will start soon).
Voorne; 117a, 134, 2x toiletbunker and one Tobruk(?).
Corona does strange things to historical buildings and the governments providing the permits to demolish them.

A pity, still a lot of destruction going on in Brest :?

Some bad news from Belgium...
During the demolition of a holiday bungalow's park in De Panne (KVA3, Belgium) in december 2011, the roofs of severals bunkers became visible. We rushed out immediately to make several fieldtrips there to dig out the bunkers for measurement and photography before they disappear again under new constructions, but their final fate is worst that we thought: demolishment. One of the two ammo bunkers and half of the 502 are gone already, some brick covered trenches have met their fate as wel during the works. More information about this strongpoint (Stp Wrangel) on the following link: http://www.atlantikwall.tk/. See also the pictures movie of our excavation on the site.

Greetings
Pierrot

today I found this periscopetube and the clear outlines of a concrete roof... meaning that at least one bunker of this stronghold remains. But this one also is in danger of being destroyed for building development... althought since a few weeks some environnemental institutions call for the remaining dunes to be preserved in it's natural state. The bunker I just found could be a great argument in the struggle to try and preserve these dunes and thus the bunker itself. Therefore I call upon anyone who can provide additional information on this stronghold Wrangel which would be usefull to documentate the existance of this bunker.
