Hi Sebastien,
"Malpertus" is that where the 669 with the 671schartes where built??
Or is it an other place.........
Maybe well go and see the M168 this summer, we are going to Alderney with the motorbike this summer so maybe we drop by.
Greetings Jack.

Hi Jack,

Malpertus is build on the west of Fontaine La mallet. It is a tunnel wich link a 622 and a VF bunker with a ringstand (in the midle of a field) to an other VF with a ringstand in the to of a wood. In the same wood (Bois des Marettes), there is an other big VF for toilet or shower), two small houses build in concrete blocks, and two small shelters (brickwork and concrete roof).

We suposed the area was an HQ for artillerie.

Regards,

Sébastien

That sucks. It was a beautiful complex! Very exciting to walk and crawl through all the tunnels.
About the 117a, that's a sad one too...

WoW Usually people don't like blowing up the past but it seems that they cant wait to blow up bunkers... Are they trying to erase the past?

Just came back from a short bunkertrip to Boulogne,
And i have more bad news, although not as bad as destruction, The ramp of the L411A of Pelargonie (Flak batterie south of Le Portel) is demolished, it looks like they are going to built houses there........
Goldregen (a L430A and a 621 could be seen there) is now covered under earth.
The Divisionalbattery of Franzozenkraut is partly dugout, probably to built some kind of factory, the Northern 611 is open but the backside is covered with earth, the front of the two 669's is completely free of earth and it looks like they have the hülsengrube of the 611's were these planned as 611's and later when the hülsengrube was built the design of the 669's was released and then built as 669's, the 669's have the "nose" of the 611 but you can clearly see they are separate parts.
Greetings Jack.

For the Mont Lambert Battery, the actual state is like this since 2004. I don't know what they will to do there.

Goldregen: yes sad, like this since 2005.

Hi RV,
Last week they were digging in front of the Northern 611 and the 669 and removing earth from there to the Northside of the road.
The Southern 669 was already longer free of ground.
Greetings jack.
