Hello All
I personally thinks that the bunker A and B with the red circles are "Luftschutzbunker" converted to hospitalbunker , called Ost- and Westbunker see my first post .
For the Seeko bunker , I think that bunker D fits the 1200 M3 and also the connection
to the underground passage makes me believe that is the one .
A other point is in favour of bunker D is the living quarters in bunker E near D .
@ hello French One do you have drawings of the bunker ??????
Regards Jos

Re: Marine-Schule Brest
Hi!
Short historical information for everybody who's interested...
After Germany invaded France in 1940, the german Kriegsmarine send a unit to Brest-area for Signal Intelligence.
This "MPHS Brest" (Marine-Peilhauptstelle) was near Plougonvelin.
Because they had to build up the site near Plougonvelin first, the Kriegsmarine send a small "pre-unit" to Brest to
do some "preparatory work" in SIGINT.
This small unit build up their receivers in a wing of the Marine-Schule until the building site at Plougonvelin
was finished.
Maybe to fill a gap in your private archives...
Best wishes
Rolf

Re: Marine-Schule Brest
Hi nordfriese, thanks for the info you bring.
When ready, near Plougonvelin, stood the MPHS, you said. I think it's Re 304.
This place is called Trémeur. Nowadays remain some ringstands ( 58d), some flakstands, and one special underground concrete shelter, probably used for transmissions (measured by our team : Belfra).
Aerial pictures show nothing visible in 1948, earthworks in 1952, and in 1961 :
See our plan of the shelter on Dirk's topic "be careful of using archives" page 2 (bottom) :

US map of this station :

Would you have any other information on that ?
