Hello

I need som info on this railway gun, it is stated from seller that the pics are from Norway.

Does some one have any idea of type and calibre?

Looks to me the 28 cm schwere Bruno K. (E) , so it could be E.A.A. 689 ??

Hello Jos ,
You are correct , the location is Knatteröd , north of Fredrikstad .
Later stored at Mysen , scrapped in the 1950 s .

Looks like a normal 10.5 cm l.F.H. 18 but there some difference's or not ??

Hi Jos, Sturm and TH

It is a lovely model. As a model maker it looks like someone has scratch-built it. I would like to know more about it. I always find models that have been built from scratch have more character than kit built no matter how much closer to scale and more detailed a kit can be.

Hello

I hope that this a real gun ;-) , two photo's from what looks like the same gun ??
The photocaption places the first in Crete and the other one in Greece so this could match .

Hello Jos ,
Thanks for the interesting uploading !
The gun is a part of the Bristish coastal defences of
Crete before the German invasion . The units
are 15 th Coast Regiment and RM mobile defended
base organisation .
The gun is a 4 in naval gun Mark IX
Locations are at :
- Canea
- Maleme
- Georgeopolis
- Heraklion
