Re: Unknow gun
I wll will take a shot at this. Based on photo evidence, more of the ship than the gun, I believe these are Italian 100 mm/47 cal OTO M1937 guns. There is a shot of one (in John Campbell's "Naval Guns of WW II on page 341) mounted on the torpedo boat Ariel of the Spica class which shows a simular shield and barrel arrangement. Due to the mounting of the two guns not on the ship's main deck but on two bandstands and the presence of a german quad 20 mm as well as the mine rails I believe that these photos were taken on the the ex-Italian orpedo boat Arditi which was used by the german navy as the TA 26 untill sunk by british MTBs in 1944. Acording to the limited documation I have on the italian ships the TA 26 was the only one utilized by the Germans to Carry a quad 20 mm.

Re: Unknow gun
I would have to disagree the carriage and equibulators do not match. It looks like the phantom russian 105 mm fixed model M 1934 pictured on page 64 of the old "WW II Fact files Anti-aircraft guns" by chamberlin and Gander. This is only the second oicture of this weapon which I have seen. I would personally believe that it more likely to be a 100 mm as I have seen no other reference to a russion weapon of this caliber. It strongly resembles the prewar Bofors designs.
Re: Unknow gun
Hello
I could be wrong , but I based this conclusion on a photo from the Russian flakbatterie Lenin at Sewastopol
please look at the equibulators and the tip of the barrel . All seven heavy flakbatterie at Sevastopol were
equipped with 4 x 7.65 cm guns . Maybe the famous Leningrad guns are the same ??

Re: Unknow gun
Hi all,
Chazatte, in relation to the photo 3, is this weapon the same that 15cm K (Einsenbahn) railway gun
of which I upload this photo? In photo3 nobody would say it is a railway gun.

Re: Unknow gun
Not naval, but a Soviet one indeed. It is a 76.2 mm antiaircraft gun model 1915/28.jopaerya wrote: I think photo 4 is a Russian naval 7.65 cm Flak gun
