From my limited research the gun with the wooden wheels and armord shield for the operator is a 90 mm CCA Mle 26-30 sur affût Mle 31. The same gun with no shield is a 90 mm CCA Mle 26-30 sur affût Mle 32. The later 90 mm with the rubber wheels was the model 39.

Incidently the first two versions 26-30 s belonged to the French navy while the 90 mm M39 belonged to the French army DAT.

Hello,

The gun with a SOMUA tractor is a "canon de 90 modèle 1932/C 1932 sur affût M.C.A modèle 1932 de 90" Schneider of the "Groupe d'artillerie mobile de D.C.A" de la Marine armed with 8 batteries of 4 guns (32 guns), 12 "projecteurs GP" and 9 "groupes d'écoute déplaçables".
In 1944-1945, the surviving batteries were used in the fight of "Poches de Royan et de La Rochelle".
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

Thanks for your answers, Roland and Guy and Jos...

I am a bit confused...:

90mm Mle 1926
90mm Mle 1926-30 sur affût Mle 31
90mm Mle 1926-30 sur affût Mle 32
90mm Mle 1932 sur affût Mle 1932
90mm Mle 1939

Which are the differencies between all of these models ?? :?

From 1936 until 1939 at least, 6 batteries of these guns with "Groupe Mobile d'Artillerie Lourde de Côte et de DCA" were based south of Cherbourg in the former dirigible hangar at Ecausseville. Pictures of the guns can be seen at an exhibition there. Two batteries of 155 mm modèle 1932 Schneider guns were also part of this group.

Hello,
The guns of the "Groupe Mobile d'Artillerie Lourde de Côte et de DCA" of the french Navy were ordered in Schneider in 1932, they were:
-12 guns 155 mm modèle 1932.
-32 guns 90 mm CA modèle 1932.
In 1938, one 155 mm battery and two batteries of 90 were send in Northern Africa (Tunisie afterwards in Algeria).
The french "Artillerie Coloniale" ordered in 1930 years to Schneider one 155 mm modèle 1932 battery and 3 batteries of 90 CA for Dakar.
8 guns 155 mm modèle 1932 were lost in Dunkirk and many 90 CA during the retreat in june 1940.
But, in 1944-1945, the African guns returned and they were 8 guns of 155 mm modèle 1932 and 8 guns 90 CA modèle 1932 in action with french Navy gunners ("canonniers-marins") in Italia (Elbe Island) and in France (Atlantic theater, poche de Royan and La Rochelle).
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

I finally found the answer in the most recent issue of the French magazine “Histoire de Guerre, Blindés et Matériel” (GBM) No. 116 in an article from Matthieu Comas. The picture shows the remaining carriage of a French AA gun, the 20 mm Hispano-Suiza HS-404, abandoned after removal of the gun itself during the June 1940 retreat from a French airfield. The HS 404 was originally designed and used in French fighter aircraft and later adapted for French airfield air defense in 1940.
