Hello,

These guns are old 9 cm C/73 german guns used as Flak guns on the 9 cm Flak System Wohlgemuth.
These guns were used on west and eastern Fronts during the Great War.
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

Hello all,

Can anyone identify the gun in the photo? This gun has a split trail.

It appears to me tube a German 105 MM leFH 18 light field gun. I would judge from comparing the mans hand to the bore that if measured the bore would be around 105 mm. Pictures of the rear and specifically the breach would be helpful. It appears that the wheels might be non-standard replacements.

No, dont think so. The weapon looks to me a Soviet 76mm anti tank gun. The wheels are not original though...

Thank you for your answers. In fact I have already thought of both options - 10.5cm leFH16 derivatives or 76mm F-22. However, many details are different. Also, I think this gun is a bit too small to be either of them...

This picture was made by an acquintance of mine a few years ago and I don't know if he can dig out more photo. He said he could not find visible markings(probably covered by coats of paints).

Was this weapon found in China?
My thoughts are this is an unknown Chinese (post WW2) mountain gun version of the F22, or some improvised field adaptation using the system of the F22?
And what is that field piece in the background?

Yes, and that is a possibility. Some more clues: they took a measurement and found that the caliber is indeed much larger than 75, in fact close to 90mm, and it has a conventional wedge-type breechblock.

The field piece in the background is a much easier one: Japanese 10cm gun Type Taisho 14.

So probably 85mm since that was a standard calibre in Soviet/Eastern Bloc?

The barrel is quite thin, more like a mortar. Is this a breech loading mortar? A bit along the lines of this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2B9_Vasilek
