Unknow gun
Re: Unknow gun
Hello Sturm78
The first one is very difficult and hard to see , but my 2 cents are for the 8.8 cm Flak l/45 ,
the second one is a well known P.K. photo from the M.K.B. Coubre-Ost ( Gironde ) with
4 x 13.8 cm K.M. 10 (f) .
Regards Jos

Re: Unknow gun
Jos,
The two light towers are those at Cap de la Hève at that time ! See a picture (from ebay) of the old French battery there in 1940 (with its 240 mm TR Mle 1903 guns). So these 15 cm Tbts.K L/45 guns would be those of MKB Cap de La Hève before this battery was moved closer to the beach at Ste Adresse's "Nice havrais" and was renamed MKB Ste Adresse.

Thanks Emmanuel
You are 100% right this M.K.B. Cap de Heve , the gun type 15 cm Tbts.K.L/45 fits with the M.K.B. there .

Re: Unknow gun
Hi all, again,
In the book "Tyagatshi" of Jochen Vollert appears this photograph showing a gun barrel trailer with a russian Holt tractor in the background, captured by the germans in WW1. I suspect that the gun will also be of Russian origin. Can anyone identify this gun?
I know maybe this is not the most appropriate section for this WW1 question but.... maybe someone can help me here.
Thanks in advance. Sturm78.

Re: Unknow gun
Hello Sturm78
I can't place the barrel , I have seen the same wheels and maybe the barrelwagen with the 20.3 cm H 503 (r)
Here a other one look like a 4.7 cm Bohler but there are many things on the gun that are different ??

Re: Unknow gun
Hi Jopaerya,
Thanks for your answer. Yes, the wheels are similar to those of 203mm B-4 M1931 (two-wheel limber), but my photo was taken during the First World War.
As for your gun is not a 47mm Böhler. It is 37mm Bofors AT gun, probably ex-polish (wz36)

Re: Unknow gun
Here is a big barrel on a Culemeyer trailer. It think it comes from a 30,5 cm SK L/50 coastal gun (MKB Friedrich-August?). What do you think?
