Day
Looks to me like the American 90mm M1 (or M1A1) Antiaircraft Mount M1A1.
Just my guess.

Chazette... congratulation on your excellent knowledge of the guns. Do you have any expertise in the tactics or procedures of the French artillery of 1920 to 1940? I am assemblying data for a comparative study of the techniques of fire, communications, and other details for battery and larger groups. Any leads to sources, advice, or knwledge you, or anyone else here, can share would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Carl,

try to get into contact with the french army artillery museum in Draguignon in southern france. They have got a huge collection of french artillery and they should be able to provide you with the kind of information you are looking for.

Have a look on our homepage with a list of material that I have seen there last summer:

Hello Dimi

This one is a difficult one , one the first photo ( same gun on the 2 photo's )
you can a the right of the gun a Crow-stepped gable house , so it must be a
northern european county . The looks out of order because the trails is fitted
with grass , but I will keep looking .

Yeap sure is an oldie, as a matter of fact I think it lacks recoil system (rigid carriage). But surely looks interesting.. I see a "French touch" on the design....

Is this a 10,5 cm gun?
(Sorry about the quality of the picture, it's a scan from a book)

Probably a 10.5cm le FH 16. Not a 7.7cm FK 16 because it has longer barrel.
