Re: 4 cm Bofors
Jos, the uniforms are Luftwaffe but the age of the "men" makes me think they are schoolboy "Hilfer".

The 5 cm Flak 41 with the young "Flakhelfer" picture appears on other websites. I don't know the original source.

Thank you, Jos, for the installation drawing from the KM. I'm surprised by the date of June 1943. It's quite late in the war for using the rare 5 cm Flak 41.

Re: 4 cm Bofors
But guns in Hungarian service could be also former Polish army property, evacuated and decomissioned in Hungary (Sept. 1939).

Re: 4 cm Bofors
Polish built guns and British Mk1carriages had six wheel nuts. Swedish and Hungarian built guns have 5 wheel nuts.
The dismounted solider behind the gun looks like he is in an Hungarian uniform.

Re: 4 cm Bofors
Sorry to go back to this post but I have just noticed how to tell a Hungarian gun from other countries. Look at the firing platform in front of the layers feet, it is like a tray where all the others are open. If you go back on this thread all the guns that have been identified as Hungarian seem to have this feature.Sturm78 wrote:all,

Edit, it can be seen very clearly in an overhead photo on the flames of war website http://www.flamesofwar.com/Default.aspx ... _cat_id=27

Clive,
Here are pictures of the 4 cm Bofors gun with the "Hungarian" tray. But I don't think there are all Hungarian guns in particular the gun at the beach:
