Book covering the German fortifications in the southern region of Norway (Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder fylke) This area was heavily fortified and had two Festungen : Lister and Kristiansand.

The book is published by Vest-Agder Museet. (Regional Museum)

The main drawback for your Non-Scandinavians is that it is written in norwegian, perhaps a english version will come later. But there are anyway 132 maps and 36 bunker sketches in the book that would be interesting for most of you. :milwink:

Some new sketches as the SK-S100, SK Hilfs-Leitstand at Vara and FL 154, all made by Harpoon on this forum.
One can order the book through Inge Eikeland at the museum i.eikeland(_removespam_)@vestagdermuseet.no .

Hi,
I'm going to make a little self promotion :-)

A little over a year ago Torben Thorsen and I finished our book about the Fliegerhorst Esbjerg, Denmark. The book covers the German Luftwaffe and their whereabouts in and around the city of Esbjerg. Main focus is the fliegerhorst and the air-war in that particular area.

The book is planned to be the first of three. The next two are planned to cover the German Kriegsmarine and Heer.

Unfortunately the book is only in Danish and we have not for the moment plans to make an English version :-(

Facts about the book:
- 103 pictures (black and white)
- Drawings of all the bunker types found on the fliegerhorst. (Original drawings of the early bunkers and new drawings made from measurements in the field of late bunkers)
- Lots of original drawings of barracks on the fliegerhorst
- Maps in colour (Overview maps and detail maps)
- Book format ISO A4
- 103 pages
- ISBN 978-87-91470-85-1

The book can be ordered from following sites:

Note that the book is in fact written in both norwegian, english and german.

It can be ordered from the museum (contact: http://www.kanonmuseet.no/?node_id=11&menu_id=1 )

I think it's just the one edition - the publisher don't seem to update their webpage in respect of the term "neu"...
Anyway: It's a good book, worth mentioning again :)
