Andrej,

The picture of Fritz (in E.686) was also posted on 10 Nov 2016 in the thread "K5 Reichsbahn Series numbers" (viewtopic.php?f=70&t=224492&start=30) and the post mentioned who the gun was named after: Prof. Fritz Rausenberger.

The question remains what is Fritz's Reichsbahn Nummer". :?

Sturm 78,

The ebay auction mentioned "Frankreich/Belgien 1941" and that there is was a writing on the back of the picture written in Flemish. Added to the dune landscape, I think it is one the 28 cm kurze Bruno guns of E.690 in Bredeene.

WW1 model recaptured from the Belgian army. Nr. 918 557 in the German army.

With the snow, the winter of 1940 would be the earliest date of this picture.
