Re: Westwall
Yes, we hope....
I have one picture from ebay, I think it could be in Saarlouis... can i be right?
In the auction the seller wrote the bunker has the tactical name "Torgau"
From the details it could be one oft the bunkers in Saarlouis (Saarlautern)
Pic = ebay, a few weeks ago

Re: Westwall
Hello Markus,
maybe you are able to identify the bridge or the prominent building in the background?
A higher resolution scan would be also helpful to identify the tactical number written on the wall.

Re: Westwall
Hi Daniel,
sorry, can´t take a scan, it´s not my pic... it is copy from Ebay.
I try to identify the bridge and the building. The problem is the brigdge, i think. At wartime most bridges were blown up...
And much buildings were damaged or planted postwar in order to build new ones...
Try to look through old picture of the towns on the saar. (Saarbrücken, Saarlouis, Völklingen)

Re: Westwall
Hello Jos, hello Markus,
it was possible to identify the R 113b in Körperich by its WH number. The ruin is still visible today, even if it is completely overgrown. The bunker was blown up like most of the bunkers in the area.
Please find attached two images of the bunker from the 17th of november 2007.
Greetings Daniel

Hi Jos,
The second pic shows a structure of a Regelbau 112b I mean...
The view of the photo shooter was partly covered by the wall of the hole.

Re: Westwall
Hello Jos, hello Markus,
thanks for the flowers, but the inscription on the backside of the picture and the WH number made this an easy one The second picture seems to show a different bunker construction site. If you compare the layout of a R 113b and a R 115b to this picture, it looks to me to be a R 115b (see the attachments). In this case this picture was taken on a different place. In the near area around Körperich is no R 115 mentioned on the WH maps. So one option is that the picture was taken somewhere else and the second option is that a R 115b construction site was started but never finished and therefore was not mentioned on the official Wh maps.
Greetings
Daniel

Re: Westwall
Hi Jos and Daniel,
Do you realy think it was planed in A? The plane wall behind the Turret seemed to be in B, or am I mistaken?
And are you sure that it could be with group? I think it´s to small for that. Perhaps 112b?

Re: Westwall
Hello Markus,
I think you are right that this one could be without an additional group. So from this point of view a R 112 would match, but the interiour layout of the R 112 and R 113 is similar as it is with the R 114 and the R 115. And if you have a look on the floorplan on the construction site it looks like the layout of a R 114 / R 115. I'm not quite sure about the dimensions of the external walls, maybe those ones could be 3,5 m.

Re: Westwall
Hi Jos,
Nice Pic. I have some more pics from this bunker.
But it get´s me a riddle. The only small regelbau with 20P7, I know is the 522B01 in B from the Pionierprogramm.
But It must have a Gewehrscharte to defend the entrance, (Like a Regelbau 1) not a 422P01 MG Schartenplatte (like the Regelbau 23)... Also here we have 2 Außenanschlüsse für Festungsfernsprecher...
Perhaps a new Version of the Regelbau 522B01? Or SK?
BRegards
Markus
