Hello

Most of the Doppelschartenstanden I have seen were build in the coastline of the A.W.
but in St Nazaire a quit a few Doppelschartenstanden were build in the landdefences
( Landfront ) was this also on other places ?

Hi Jos, IJmuiden had at least one doppelschartenständ for 5cm KwK L60 in the Northern Landfront, it was situated in an Panzermauer.
You can read about it in Ruud Pols his book about the Landfront of the Festung IJmuiden.

Hi Jos, in scheveningen there were a couple of d. Schartenstande for m.g., on the boulevard.
They were built early in the war and had walls in ''bruckenmauerstein'' (basaltstenen) of 50 cm. Thickness, ''und durfen nicht in fuhreratlas erscheinen''
One of these was built to the remains of the wandelhoofd wilhelmina, and is depicted in ''van verdediging naar bescherming''.

In north holland there was also d. Schartenstand for kwk and mg, i think there is a drawing of that one somewhere in a old topic. (Edit: it's in this topic:-) )

Couild this a 5 cm KwK in a Doppelschartenstand , because you the opening on the right to
rotate the gun to the other Scharten . According to the PK photo this should be Holland.

If it is Holland, It is a special photo.
Not much DS were made in Holland.
If we do not count AOK 15 only 2 to 4 were made.
There are some nice drawings in the NIOD.
