Hello!

Would need a picture of a czechian 8,35cm Flak 22 which was used in Flakbatterien (o) in 1939/1940.

Your question had the answer for one I had!

In the "Panzer atlas" there is a sparepart for this gun called
"795 P4 Schutzschild für 8,35cm Flak"

I have allways wondered about the origin of this 8,35 cm............

Please find attached two photos of the above weapon.

The first photo was taken from 'WW2 Fact Files: Anti-Aircraft Guns', by Peter Chamberlain and Terry Gander. The other photo was and data was taken from 'Small Arms, Artillery and Special Weapons of the Third Reich: An Encyclopedic Survey', by terry Gander and Peter Chamberlain.

Data:

Calibre: 83.5 mm
Length of piece (L/55): 4600mm
Weight travelling: 8800 kg
Traverse: 360 degrees
Elevation: + 85 degrees to - 5 degrees
Muzzle velocity: 800 m/sec
Shell weight: 10 kg
Maximum vertical ceiling: 11,300 m
Rate of fire: 15 rpm
Manufacturer: Skoda, Pilsen

Here is the naval version used by the Yugoslavian Navy. Did the Germans reused this version as well?

Another 83.5mm vz. 22. Possibly the same location as the previous picture (same serie on ebay.de). What type of artillery tractor is towing the gun?
