Hi,
The L 484 at Haamstede just might be a 489.

Hi Jos and SES,
I think that this was a later planning, because the L413A and the 638 were also not built.
In the L484 there are a Bnr. and a typenr present.
So it IS a L484.
Greetings Jack.

Hallo!

In Norway we only got 2 confirmed L 484 so far.... (Kjevik & Örlandet airports)
According to buildinglists, 7 were planned, but most likely many of them were dropped in favour of an "SK für Funk- und Fernschrieb" which can be found on many of the places which SHOULD have a L 484....

It should be a L484, could have been a L489 and the drawing (BRV-archief) doesn't make it clear since it's a variant of 3,0 m Stärke.

Hi Rene,
The Drawing of the BRV is not correct.
The room on the left is on the backwall side about 50cm smaller then on the BRV drawing.

Funksendezentrale and Funksendestelle

Hi,

In order to precisely locate Funksendezentrale and Funksendestelle on the area of Rennes with the last still alive witnesses.
For what was used FuSZ and FuSSt excatement.
Type of materials, personnel, men numbers ?
The plan of Jos indicates a whole FuSZ network and FuSSt of the management of the air service according to what I guess.
I am an old student, forgive me !

Thank you
Dan

Hi Dan,
Both the FuSZ and the FuSS were used for Flugsicherung, to-day long range air traffic control and navigational assistence. The Adcocks were used to make cross bearings on the aircraft and based on this give them a position and if needed a course to fly. The were manned by Ln.-Kp., but I think the personnel were split into Trup, Gruppe or Zug.

This discusion goes way over my head, but im interesting in pictures/drawings inside/outside of such a SK for comparing. A bunker for generator would eventually be placed into this ?

Hallo!

Here is a drawing of the SK which was atleast built at the airports Lista, Sola, Gossen & Banak....
The generator would be placed on the four concrete pylons you see in the top left room.

Hallo!

The word "compare" makes me think we might have to add one to the list? :-)
