42cm Skoda M16 or M17 austro-hungarian field howitzer. This piece could be transported on wheel road trailers or on railway trailers.

Do you know the date or location of the picture? It seems that the train tracks are cut front and back of trailers. Museum??? :?

Thank you, Jopaerya

I suppose that the image was taken in 1920s or 1930s.
This gun still had a relatively high military value in those years. Why was relegated by the Romanians to a museum in such an early date? :?

I think it would have been very useful in the Eastern Front, in the siege of Odessa or Sevastopol.
Why Romanians did not use them during WW2? :?

Could it be this gun an 30.5cm SK L50 of Friedrich August battery?

Sturm78,

The fist picture could indeed by a 30,5 cm gun of the "Friedrich August" battery. However, the 2nd picture looks like the installation of a gun in a turret. :?

Markus,

I think that the “French 75 AA” on the postal card is actually a "7,7 cm L/35 (franz.)" German Flak gun i.e. a 75 mm Mle 1897 gun relined to 7,7 cm in order to accept German ammunition.

The Romanian AT gun was a 47 mm Mle 1936 Schneider which had not been adopted by the French Army.
