Hello
When it comes to the locations one should have in mind that sometimes its just the city close by that its named., not the location of the MPHS/MPS.
In Norway one should have in mind what happened at Hammerfest/Kirkenes.

Hi stril,
I'm not quite sure what you mean, it is two different units at two different locations, a MPHS and a MPNS.

Hello
I'm not quite sure what you mean,
Taking MPHS Stavanger as an example, its not located in Stavanger, but at Viste aprox 10 km from Stavanger. Same goes for other MPHS.

Hello All

Found two potentials for the M.P.H.S. Brest and Bordeaux , Brest could be Pointe du
Corsen , Bordeaux could be Croix d'Hins also used for communication with U-Boote .

Who has any clue on this bunker on the site was a Marine Peilstelle and was
bombed just like other special Luftwaffe site along the Atlantikwall days before D-Day .

Just to say that the above link doesn't work anymore. It has moved to:

Hello All

Found some small parts of the big puzzle , 2 reports just after the first landings
from M.P.N.S.Bayeux ( device destroyed ) and Etretat ( I think a Allied fake
message to mislead the Germans for a other landing in the Pas de Calais area )

Also found the precise place of the M.P.N.S. Bayeux this is at Chateaux Magny
on the road from Bayeux to Arromanches , maybe Ben or Etienne know this place ?

Regards Jos

Hello
While looking at this something called a Bord-B.Dienstgruppe pops up, and from earlier the B.Dienstgruppe is mentioned. B-Stelle is mentioned also.
Anyone who know the difference with these ?

Hi,
The Marine Funkaufklärungs Dienst was reorganized in 1942 as follows:
B-Stellen were renamed Marine-Peilstellen (MPS) and I think these were later renamed MPNS.
B-Haupt- and Bereichs-B-Leitstellen were renamed MPHS.

Hello
The MPHS Brest seems to be located at "Lez Tres Hir bei Brest".
