Nice Remco!
It is less a mess than when i visited the site about 6 years ago.. then there were gipsy's or refugees living on the site with tents.. one of the open emplacements was used as a toilet, that was really nasty with 25° and sunshine :?

Same here when I visited the location the first time, the "travelers" were shitting all over the place indeed. Now it's a museum.

Turm III with integrated troop-bunker type FK 648:

the ground-layer for this 3D plan is based on a plan of Dirk Peeters, the heights are based on sight and my photographs.

Hello all.
There is no Arnika 2. Just Arnika. With creche 1 and creche 2. Creche 3 was the anti aicraft batt after creche 2.

There was also a bunker called Anton on creche 2. Please see www.festungboulogne.com. nice find fore the York picture. The chairman of ass. Creche told me the found remains of a other name. With this I mean part of the text that fall down. Perhaps intersting to check so we know the 3 names of the F.K. 647 bunkers. York. Blucher and .... gr. Ben
