Hello All

In my documents the Luftwaffe flak at La Pallice ( La Rochelle ) was 8.8 cm flak ,
who has any information that the 8.8 cm flak was changed in 10.5 cm Flak ??

Regards Jos

Hi! No idea if worth anything but site mentioned below has some pictures and info on La Pallice and many other bunkers. The bunker Jos mentioned in first post looks like what is mentioned as "Abri P.C. Amiral". No good at french so I'm not quite sure this helps.

Hello

Found some scans of my "real photos" from the first time I visited La Pallice in 1996 :)

The gasolinetanks and the pier is near La Pallice, but I dont know if it has anything to do with the UBB?

Regards
Kurt

Bonjour

Gasoline tanks are not or near La Pallice but in Gironde South (Le Verdon). German made for Marine boats not fur UB.
And the "pier" is not a pier but "digues de défense contre l'océan" (Soulac) made by Port Autonome de Bordeaux. Some began in 1844...

those rail-networks in the pier you also have at boulogne sur mer, even an old train-shed can been determined at boulogne, but i also think they are from 1800's
